RESPONSIBILITY KNOCKED EARLY ON MY DOOR
From the age of 4, my mom start dragging me along to meetings and programs where we all wore colored teeshirts, danced 
prayed and the adults spoke to the press. I knew those meetings were about me because the cameras won’t just let me be. Anyways I enjoyed the attention everyone gave me because they treated me and the other kids in a cool 
manner.
So as a child, I’m supposed to play, watch cartoons, and stuff but here I am listening to advocacy talks, learning about my fundamental human rights and self-advocacy. Now I’m just 10 years old and I already found my passion; SELF ADVOCACY
This means I’m confident, I know my needs, and know just how to get attention.
I’m aware there are many BIASES around me and that’s not fair! It’s important that I’m given a chance to be ME. I don’t like the fact that people who make decisions about my educational and health care needs do not know anything about me! I’m inspired by my role model Heidi who’s advocating for the stoppage of DS abortions.
