With the help of partners and special friends of the Engraced Ones, we had lots and lots of activities to match our goal of promoting inclusion and reducing to the barest minimum, the discrimination of persons with disability in our society.
God helped us!
Our mouths kept running!
Aggressive Cerebral Palsy Awareness 2022 was a reality.
As the curtains close in on the year 2022, I’ll be a great fool if I don’t acknowledge these amazing people who made sure the prayer alter of the Engraced Ones kept burning.
These are men and women of great sacrifice!
Sir, ma, I celebrate you! We experience glory this year because of those little acts of love you showed. Interestingly, most of you do not even have children with additional needs.
We didn’t know a better month this year because God’s grace was progressively available.
May the beauty and laughter of the season not end with the dates 25th, 26th, and 1st of January but let it be a daily occurrence through to the end of 2023.
The idea to expose our children to opportunities to help them practice singing skills (which they find challenging since most of them have one form of impairment and the other in their speech seemed improbable.
Another challenge would have been to get families to willingly open up their doors to children with diverse abilities.
It happened! Truth is, the invites rolled in but unfortunately we didn’t get to visit some homes since most of our adorable traveled for the end-of-the-year festivities.
We look forward to more opportunities and greater exploits next year though.
Four families deserve our accolades as their generosity towards us would contribute in no small measure to the educational progress of our pupils.
1. Deacon and Deaconess Ayo Obasa
2. Pastor and Deaconess Oluyemi Alade
3. Major General J. Ugwuoke and his beautiful wife Francisca
4. AVM (Deacon) and Deaconess Dennis Yinkere
We also appreciate our dear parents who made their children available to bring joy to homes.
The teaching staff of the School of Grace and Graceland Miracle Inclusive School, God bless you!
